Brockton YMCA Announcement: December 15, 2020

December 15, 2020

Dear Members,

In accordance with Mayor Sullivan’s order to return to Phase 2, Step 2 of reopening, the Brockton YMCA will suspend in-person operations beginning Wednesday, December 16th.

There are still plenty of ways you can stay connected and take advantage of all the Y has to offer.

As a member, you have full access to several other nearby Ys – including the Easton YMCA, Stoughton YMCA, and East Bridgewater YMCA. Simply scan in upon arrival and you will be able to use the fitness centers and attend group exercise classes as you normally would. For a full list of Ys you may visit during this time, please click here. In addition to in-person offerings, you can also access a great library of free on-demand and live virtual fitness activities via the Old Colony YMCA app.

While our fitness centers are closed, we will continue to mobilize our YMCA to offer critical child care and meal distribution services to our community.

We intend to reopen on January 6, 2021, but we will await further guidance from Mayor Sullivan’s office. Thank you for your continued support of our Y during the last nine months. Since we reopened our doors in July, you have been our partner in keeping our staff, participants, and community safe.

Wishing you safe holidays and a happy New Year,

Your friends at the Brockton YMCA
