The Old Colony YMCA offers members the opportunity to get the most out of their fitness routine by offering the latest equipment and fitness resources.  We also offer a variety of classes, from aquatic jogging to spinning, to encourage and motivate our members.  There is something for everyone at our YMCA!

Why should I hire a personal trainer?

After assessment of your current level of fitness and health history, a personal trainer will help you to set realistic health and fitness goals. Once your goals are set, a plan can be implemented to help you achieve those goals. Enjoy the benefits of one-on-one personal training, partner training, or group training with a personal trainer. Personal trainers will design a program to best match your fitness goals, hold you accountable, and keep you motivated to reach your fitness goals. PLEASE NOTE: 24 hour notice directly to the trainer is required to cancel a session. Cancellations with less than a day notice, depending on circumstances, may not be reimbursed by service or monetary refund.

Personal Fitness Assessment

Learn everything you need to know in order to start charting your progress to a new you. This evaluation process will provide you with valuable baseline information that can be used immediately to develop you exercise plan, and later to recognize your improvements. 1 hour.

Body Composition

Stop focusing on the weight on the scale and see what percentage of your body is fat mass. No one has ever had a heart or lung problem from having too much muscle or bone. By appointment only. 

Get Started Program

FREE “get started” coaching- New members and those who need a refresher get 3 FREE Get Started sessions with a YMCA Wellness Coach. Our coaches help you establish a workout plan and also teach you how to use the cadio and strength training equipment. We’ll also introduce you to group exercise and aquatic options
