EAST BRIDGEWATER – The Boundless Bean, a mission-driven coffee shop dedicated to inclusion and community, will open its second location at the Old Colony YMCA – East Bridgewater Branch in early spring 2026. This partnership unites two organizations committed to creating spaces where every individual feels welcomed, valued, and empowered.

At the Old Colony YMCA, strengthening individuals and communities is at the heart of everything we do. From supporting young people to improving health and well-being, we strive to help every person discover their purpose and potential. Welcoming The Boundless Bean into our East Bridgewater branch builds on that commitment by offering a vibrant gathering place designed to spark connection and celebrate the strengths of people of all abilities.

Founded nearly three years ago by Elena Hogan, MS, OTR/L, a licensed occupational therapist, and her husband, Tommy Hogan, The Boundless Bean has quickly become known for its joyful atmosphere and its dedication to meaningful employment opportunities. The café’s mission is simple yet powerful: create environments where individuals can grow, gain confidence, and experience true belonging. Every cup served reflects that purpose.

“As an occupational therapist, I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful work and inclusive environments can transform lives,” said Elena Hogan, co-founder of The Boundless Bean. “Partnering with the East Bridgewater YMCA allows us to extend this mission even further by creating welcoming spaces where people of all abilities can connect, contribute, and belong.”

“This is more than a café, it’s the start of a long-term partnership rooted in shared values,” said Derek Paiva, Vice President of the East Bridgewater YMCA. “Together, we’re building a model of inclusion and community engagement that will continue to grow for years to come.”

More details about the grand opening of The Boundless Bean at the East Bridgewater YMCA will be shared as spring 2026 approaches.
