QUINCY, MA - On Friday, October 27, 2023, Old Colony YMCA raised more than $660,000 at its 7th Annual Rise Up Gala, marking one of the most successful events in the organization’s history. Hosted by Levan Reid of WBZ-TV, the Gala took place at the Quincy Marriott and achieved success on every level.

Proceeds from the Gala help OCY provide critical services to children and families throughout the region regardless of their financial or life circumstances. Gaelle Nelfise, a Lasell College senior, gave an inspiring testimonial on the impact that Old Colony YMCA had on her life. The event concluded with a very successful auction and Fund-a-Need with Tom Rogers of FB Insure and Middleboro YMCA's Board of Governors serving as auctioneer.

The night’s honorees were Bill & Lynne Payne who took home the Leadership Award, and Bristol County Savings Bank who took home the Call to Action Award.
