Child Care

The Old Colony YMCA is the largest provider of child care and after school programs in the region.  We offer a variety of programs that provide safe, fun and nurturing environments with exciting, hands-on activities.  We offer child care options to suit the needs of families.  All our child care programs are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).  Programs offered include:

• Before school care
• After school care
• School Vacation Programs and Early Release Care
• Summer Camp Programs

Our programs feature an emphasis on health, development and enjoyment.  While programs for small children are focused on strong caring, development, and safety; programs for older children add home work assistance, character development, health and wellness programming and social development.

Hours of Operation:

• Monday - Friday year round
• Before School: 6:30 am to 8:30 am - Breakfast is provided
• After School: 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm - Snack is provided
• Half school days: 12 noon to 6:00 pm - Lunch and snack is provided
• No School/Vacation Weeks: 6:30 am to 6:00 pm - Breakfast, Lunch, and a Snack is provided

Offerings:

• We provide transportation to and from Brockton Elementary and Middle Schools for our Before School Program and our After School Program. (Please contact us regarding which school your child attends for additional information.)
• Homework Help
• Youth Fitness Center
• Swimming - The Youth Branch has two pools that the children in our School Age Program utilize regularly!
• Gymnasium/Physical Recreation
• Computer Lab - with internet access to assist children with education projects and homework.
• Programs and Curriculum - geared toward age appropriate learning
• Field Trips
• Complimentary Youth Membership - offering all member benefits
