Child Care

The Old Colony YMCA Youth Brockton Branch School Age Program is a licensed program through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that serves children ages 5-14.  Our School Age Program offers Before and After School Programming Monday thru Friday.  Our Program is open year round offering full day child care on days that the Brockton Public Schools are closed, full day child care on Vacation Weeks as well as child care on specific holidays that our child care program will remain open.  The Youth Branch School Age program additionally offers a Summer Fun Club for all children enrolled in the program.

Child Care Program Rates:

• We offer income eligible slots for those families who qualify.
• We accept child care vouchers (such as Home Health and Child Care).
• Before School Program Fees - $6.50 daily; totaling $32.50 a week.
• After School Program Fees - $18.90 daily; totaling $94.50 a week.
• Before and After School Program combined will total $127.00 weekly.
• $35.00 daily on no school days/vacation weeks.
• Financial Scholarship Assistance may be available!

Hours of Operation:

• Monday - Friday year round
• Before School: 6:30 am to 8:30 am - Breakfast is provided
• After School: 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm - Snack is provided
• Half school days: 12 noon to 6:00 pm - Lunch and snack is provided
• No School/Vacation Weeks: 6:30 am to 6:00 pm - Breakfast, Lunch, and a Snack is provided

Offerings:

• We provide transportation to and from Brockton Elementary and Middle Schools for our Before School Program and our After School Program. (Please contact us regarding which school your child attends for additional information.)

• Youth Fitness Center
• Swimming - The Youth Branch has two pools that the children in our School Age Program utilize regularly!
• Gymnasium/Physical Recreation
• Computer Lab - with internet access to assist children with education projects and homework.
• Programs and Curriculum - geared toward age appropriate learning
• Field Trips
• Complimentary Youth Membership - offering all member benefits
