YouthBuild Brockton Graduate Patrick Breton Introduces General Colin Powell
On March 1, 2010, President Obama and General Colin Powell talked about education at an event for the America's Promise Alliance. Patrick Breton, a 2008 YouthBuild Brockton graduate, introduced General Colin Powell at this event. Pat eloquently described the many positive changes in his life since he enrolled in, and graduated from, YouthBuild Brockton. We are so proud of this young man and his many accomplishments, and know that we will be hearing more about him in the future! Congratulations Pat on a job well done!

Two houses sold to first-time Homebuyers!
The houses built by program students in 2007-08 have been sold to two lucky families. The houses, located on Arthur Street in Brockton, were purchased by two low-income, first-time homebuyer families who have completed the Family Self Sufficiency Program through our housing partner, the Brockton Housing Authority.
