Welcome to the Old Colony YMCA Social Services Branch!
The mission of the Old Colony YMCA is to put Judeo-Christian principles into programs and services that help individuals and families residing in the communities we serve build strong minds, strong spirits, and strong bodies. Our Social Services Branch offers human service programs - non-traditional YMCA programs and services which are funded primarily by various state and local governmental agencies - designed to support at-risk youth and their families.
What is different about Old Colony YMCA Social Service Programs?
Unlike some other social service providers, the Old Colony YMCA is particularly adept at moving clients between programs so that they have access to as many resources and skill building opportunities as possible. In this way, we are able to serve our clients (and their families) to the fullest extent, thus assisting them in achieving smooth transitions into successful lives and relationships.
