Activate America
The Old Colony YMCA's participation and commitment to Activate America is a bold move to captivate those who seek health but cannot seem to sustain it. To do so, we are building strong innovative partnerships with hospitals, neighborhood health centers, universities, schools, civic groups, non-profit organizations, and others to benefit everyone in the communities we serve. In addition, we strive to ensure that YMCA programs and services are available for all health seekers by making our programs and services more affordable than ever. We have instituted "Membership for All," an income-based sliding scale fee system designed to ensure affordability and access to YMCA services for all, including those for whom membership may have been just out of financial reach.
The YMCA is for everyone!
"Membership for All," and the wonderful scholarships and camperships made possible by our Strong Kids campaign, ensure that no one is ever turned away because of an inability to pay. Each year, the Old Colony YMCA will ensure that tens of thousands of children, adults, and seniors will gain the knowledge, techniques, and confidence they need to live long and healthy lives.
