- About Us
At the Old Colony Y, we believe healthy living has as much to do with pursuing interests, passions and learning new things as it does with eating healthy and being active. Our minds and spirits need stimulus and enrichment, and we get so much more from life when we find things—and people—that inspire us.
Whether you're new to the community or simply want to pursue a new hobby, the Old Colony Y brings together people who love to learn. Whether you want to join a fitness group, cook new dishes, or create artwork - you'll learn right alongside others from the community who share your interests.
At the Old Colony Y, we offer a sense of community, fellowship and support that enriches people’s lives. You’re as likely to find a painting class as an aerobic class at your Y, and book clubs, group travel and cooking classes are becoming as popular as anything in the gym. Take a deeper look at something you’re interested in.
Historically and to this day, the Old Colony YMCA is committed to putting Judeo-Christian principles into practice through its many program offerings.
Our Mission: The Old Colony YMCA is a charitable, non-profit Association committed to the development of strong spirit, mind, and body, guided by Judeo-Christian principles, to enrich the quality of life for everyone in our communities.
We believe that our Mission is to assist all people to develop to their fullest potential, and to respond to ever-changing community needs in the areas of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility through our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
