Group Exercise
The Old Colony YMCA offers an array of group exercise classes to help our members reach their fitness goals, while making friends and having fun in a group setting. From spinning to yoga, every member, regardless of age or fitness level, can find group fitness classes at our branches to benefit from.
Zumba
Combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the participants to dance away their worries.
Cardio-Kick
Punch, strike, kick and jab your way to a great cardio workout using basic martial arts techniques. A very effective fat-burning workout.
Core Class
Want a six pack? Get one. Work your abs, back and butt in 1 hour.
20-20-20
20 minutes of step, 20 minutes of kick boxing, and 20 minutes of muscle conditioning. This class has it all!
Spinning
(Beginner and Advanced Classes)
This group cycling class will really motivate! Bring a water bottle and towel. Arrive early to reserve your seat.
Yoga
Quiet the mind and tone the body. Work at your own pace with our qualified instructors.
Family Fitness
Parents and children can get fit and have fun together! Obstacle courses, races and other physical activities.
Fundamental Fitness
Includes walking on our track and strength exercises on our new circuit equipment. This equipment is easy to use, just push a button! Heart rate and blood pressure will also be monitored in this class.
Forever Fit
A gentle fitness class that is kind to the joints. Includes a warm-up, walking segment, strength and flexibility training.
Y's Way to Fitness
A gentle stretching class that is kind to the joints run by YMCA volunteers. This is a FREE class for everyone. No registration is required.
