Meet the Staff

Teresa Farley Teresa came to the YMCA in 2006 after working in residential and public schools for the previous 10 years. She graduated from Salem State College in 1997 with a degree in Sociology. Teresa started as a swim instructor/lifeguard and was promoted to Coordinator in 2007. Teresa was recently promoted to Program Director and will now oversee Aquatics and Camp Yomechas. As the mother of 2 boys and 1 girl, one of whom is a camper, Teresa is very excited to be at camp this summer and is looking forward to the smiles from her son and all the campers. Kara (Letendre) Hines Kara has worked at camp on and off since '01 holding the positions of camp counselor, unit head, rope course coordinator, medic, and this will be her third year as Assistant Camp Director. Kara is caring, creative, outgoing, and goofy. She loves to watch camp friendships being made, dressing up on theme days, singing camp songs, and running the campfires. Ashleigh Jones Ashleigh's passion is horses! She started out in the equine apprentice program 6 years ago and moved into the Asst. Coordinators position 3 years ago. She is a very hard working, caring, and encouraging person. Some of Ashleigh's favorite things about camp are getting to know the kids and seeing how far their riding skills and confidence has progressed throughout the session. She likes to make everyday a different day with new and fun things to do. |
