About Us

Camp Massasoit serves more than 300 boys and girls, 9 to 12 years of age, who reside in specific Brockton neighborhoods.

(Please note that this is a closed referral program.) 

In critical summer months when youth are more likely to engage in negative behavior that is prevalent in their neighborhood, Camp Massasoit provides a safe place for children.  The Camp is located on the grounds of Massasoit Community College in Brockton, operating from 9 to 3 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday, from the beginning of July through mid-August. 

Campers participate in activities designed to encourage growth by developing character and leadership skills, instilling a strong sense of positive values, and encouraging peace through diversity.  We incorporate our four core values of CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT, and RESPONSIBILITY into all camp activities on a daily basis.
